XTO is a traded publicly on the NYSE and is one of the nation's largest independent oil and gas producers. Bearkat is continuing to build prospects based upon our risk reduced exploration workflow. Bearkat hires Senior Geologist from Leor Energy, LP. Bearkat is pleased to announce that Wayne Cruthis has joined our team as our Senior Geologist. Wayne has over 30 years of experience as an exploration / exploitation geologist whose strengths include prospect generation, basin analysis, sequence stratigraphy, and working 2-D/3-D seismic data. Wayne's areas of expertise include the Anadarko Basin, Oklahoma Shelf, Arkoma Basin, Permian Basin, Delaware Basin, Tatum Basin, Central Basin Platform, Powder River Basin, Denver-Julesberg Basin, East Texas Basin, Upper and Lower Texas Gulf Coast, and Louisiana. Prior to joining Bearkat, Wayne served as Senior Geologist for Leor Energy, LP, who was absorbed by a subsidiary of EnCana Corporation in November of 2007 for $2.55 billion.
Jeffrey Fulk has joined our team. - January 1, 2008.
Bearkat is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Fulk has joined our team and will serve as our land manager. Prior to joining Bearkat, Jeff served as Leor Energy, LP's in house landman until Leor was absorbed by a subsidiary of EnCana Corporation for $2.55 billion in November, 2007. At Leor, Jeff conducted all due diligence relating to acreage offers and acquisitions in counties associated with the Deep Bossier play in East Texas, as well as other interests in Louisiana and Kansas. Jeff has more than thirty years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Leor Energy, LP sells assets to Encana Corporation - November 20, 2007.
Bearkat is excited to announce that over 17,000 net acres that it sold to Leor Energy, LP, and in which Bearkat has an overriding royalty interest in, have been acquired by Encana Corporation. Encana's US based subsidiary has acquired all of the Deep Bossier natural gas and land interests of Leor Energy, and we expect portions of the acreage in which we have overrides to be drilled in the coming year.
Bearkat hires Beverly Baston - November 15, 2007.
We are pleased to announce that effective December 1, 2007, Beverly Baston will join Bearkat as our Geoscience Specialist. Beverly is from Dallas, Texas and has 30 years of oil & gas experience supporting geologists, landmen, geophysicists and attorneys. Beverly previously worked for HEP Oil Company, holding the position of Senior Geoscience Technician. She was hired to support the company with its mapping, research, cross-sections and presentations for prospect evaluation, and will be a valuable asset to our team.

Bearkat sold its leasehold position covering 1,410 net mineral acres in Brazos County, Texas to Leor Energy (Brazos), LP, and retained an overriding royalty interest. Bearkat is continuing to develop drilling prospects in Madison, Robertson, Leon, Houston, Angelina, Borden, Dawson, and Pecos County, Texas.
