Smackover and Norphlet Targets

We have found a stacked Smackover and Norphlet structure at about 14,000’ with as much as 600 acres of closure. The Bienville Forest Field produced its oil from about 100 acres or about 3800 bbls/ac recoverable. The equivalent reserves for this trap would then be 6 times that or more than 2,000,000 barrels of oil just from the Smackover. Should the Norphlet also produce, then the reserves may approach 3,000,000 barrels of oil.
Both the Smackover and Norphlet are both terrific reservoirs in the area where porosity can exceed 20%. The seismic data is old but still usable.
